With increasing age, the fat tissue decreases among others also in the area of the labia majora, which can no longer cover the labia minora, and these then become clearly visible. This condition does not lead to any complications, it is only associated with a cosmetic limitation of the overall appearance of the labia minora and labia majora. The labia majora can then be filled with body fat, which is obtained from the subcutaneous tissue in the abdominal area or the thigh and applied to the labia majora with a thin cannula. The operation is usually performed under twilight anaesthesia, but without hospitalisation.

After the operation, small patches are applied to the fat removal site and to the skin of the labia, which are removed by the patient after 3 days. Already on the second day after the operation the patient can take a shower. Office work can be performed on the 2nd-3rd day after the surgery, full physical activity and sexual intercourse are possible 2 weeks after the labia correction.
